First You could attempt your hard reset. To do this:

1.Remove the battery from the handset while it is turned on.

2.Wait 3 seconds, put the battery back in, then power the handset on.

3.Attempt a test call then attempt the action that caused the handset to freeze or malfunction previously.

If this doesn’t work, attempt a master reset.
